Hilltop Gardens & Simblija Celebrates 10 Years of Community and Care

Hilltop Gardens has proudly celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of providing exceptional retirement living for its residents. The celebration, held on 5th December 2025, also coincided with AX Group’s 50th anniversary, making the milestone even more special.

During the event, AX Group Founder, Mr Xuereb, reflected on the inspiration behind Hilltop Gardens, his wish to create a place where older adults could continue living with dignity, independence, and comfort. “I wanted to create a place where people could continue living in comfort and independence, where every detail would reflect respect and warmth,” he shared.

Ms Claire Xuereb, Director of Care at AX Group, expressed her gratitude to the teams at Hilltop Gardens and Simblija Care Home for their dedication over the past decade. She highlighted how both communities have grown into vibrant, nurturing environments built on connection, wellbeing, and compassion. “You are the daily rhythm of this place… Thank you for everything you do,” she said.

As Hilltop Gardens looks towards the future, the vision remains clear: to continue offering a retirement experience that prioritises independence, comfort, and heartfelt care. “Ten years is a big milestone… and as we look to the next ten years, I feel confident. Hilltop and Simblija have very strong foundations and an even stronger community,” Ms Xuereb added.
